Key Responsibilities

Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities:

  • Develop strategies to expand Easy Peasy Services into removal services for business and government organisations, including medical services, government contracts, and the NDIS sector. This includes capitalising on leads and sourcing/responding to tenders and contracts.
  • Research, develop and implement strategies to attract B2B clients and retain existing ones in these specialised areas.
  • Research and identify potential clients and markets in the medical services, government contracts, and NDIS sectors.
  • Direct the tender process to secure government and private business removal projects. 
  • Generate leads through networking, industry events with AFRA and other industry bodies.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in potential and existing client organisations.
  • Review market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities in other non-mapped sectors, and competitive logistics/transport industry dynamics.

Business Growth - Digital Projects for domestic clients

  • Plan and instruct the work of website developers and SEO consultants to improve business visibility and generation of sales
  • Monitor and review statistics on lead generation through our digital platforms, Easy Peasy's website, and adjust marketing strategies accordingly 

Market Expansion:

  • Improve Easy Peasy's market share by promoting the brand at industry and business networking events, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing scalable business deals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends to pursue and develop opportunities in the local and regional areas and track market competition. 
  • Research, develop and implement the Easy Peasy Group expansion project in Sydney. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of Easy Peasy business development strategies and client projects.
  • Provide feedback and insights to direct and guide the sales and marketing team members to enhance service offerings and operational efficiency.

Performance and monitoring: 

  • Continuously improve sales strategies and processes.
  • Adjust strategies and tactics based on performance data and market feedback.
  • Track and report to CEO on key performance metrics, including lead generation, sales targets, client acquisition, customer satisfaction and revenue growth

This role will oversee the sales department, working collaboratively with our marketing department to execute strategies to secure B2B contracts with private companies, government, NDIS and other potential customers. 

The main responsibility of the BDM at Easy Peasy is to guarantee the recurrence of sales through established contracts to achieve the company's revenue goal and diversify and grow its income sources. 

Qualification & Experience

We seek a professional with at least 3 years of experience as a Business Development Manager within the Logistics and Transport industry. 

Experience in the Removals industry, government contracts, and tenders is desirable. 

Proven records of sales required. 

Project management and CRM knowledge is desirable.
